Personnel

Peter D. Mellen, LLS.Peter D. Mellen, LLS
Licensed Land Surveyor

Mr. Mellen is the owner and the licensed land surveyor at Donald R. Mellen Surveyor, LLC. He is personally involved in and responsible for all phases of survey work, including deed research, field reconnaissance and surveys, calculations, boundary determination and plan preparation. He also supervises all residential and commercial subdivision design and layout and represents clients before state and local boards and agencies.

Because Donald R. Mellen Surveyor, LLC is a small survey company, Mr. Mellen is able to bring his experience and knowledge to every survey. While larger firms often delegate field work to unlicensed employees, Mr. Mellens presence ensures that a licensed land surveyor is on-site for the life of the project, from field reconnaissance to final stakeout. This guarantees that the knowledge derived from deed research is brought to the field reconnaissance and survey, and when the resulting field data is brought into the office for evaluation that field knowledge is carried along with it. As the licensed land surveyor in charge, Mr. Mellen is the person with the most professional experience and the most personal knowledge of the property.
